Madeline boasts over ten years of public relations experience, always within the hospitality industry, her true passion. Starting her career front of house in some of San Francisco’s top restaurants, she realized that she could blend her love of the food industry with her training in journalism to create a successful career in PR. She has led communications for top chefs at San Francisco’s best agencies.
In February of 2020, she left her role as Vice President at Magnum PR to start M. Janning Communications. At Magnum PR, alongside Jen Pelka, she was spearheading a successful team representing some of the best restaurants in San Francisco. She has become a trusted partner to each of her clients, drawing on her deep knowledge of the industry. A Bay Area native, Madeline grew up in San Jose and now lives in Oakland with her husband and two daughters.
Anna is a San Francisco local with a deep passion for food, restaurants and storytelling. She has worked in and around the food industry for five years, doing everything from event coordination, customer service for wine brands, to serving and expediting at various restaurants.
In conjunction with her role at M. Janning Communications, Anna works as a bartender in Truckee, allowing her to take a holistic, multi-layered approach to the restaurant industry and its many nuances.
Katherine Harris is a Northern California native dedicated to leveraging her skills as a storyteller and project manager to drive engagement for mission-driven businesses at the intersection of grocery retail, food, and sustainability. Throughout her career, she has worked with both up-and-coming food and drink brands and food waste tech companies.
Currently based in San Francisco, Katherine holds a Master’s in Food Culture & Communications from the University of Gastronomic Sciences and a BA in International and Global Studies from Middlebury College. She is an active member of Proof Collective and a volunteer with Foodwise.
